Our new Honda Jazz 2011

What does a woman who has everything need - a new HONDA JAZZ. After much nagging to get a new car my wonderful husband who I love more than anything finally talked me into taking the big step, and it was a big step but I love him for making me see we really did need it. We picked it up on the 1 July one day after getting home from Brisbane. Can you see the big smile on the salesman's face - I bet he thought here comes another bonus. The champagne and chocies came as a big surprise but it was a real nice gesture. So now I have to take one more big step and learn to use gears again, I've had a couple of trial runs but I'm still a little rusty with a few Kangaroo jumps when I first start off, as Brian says it will get easier -bless him he has such faith. My gorgeous family in Brisbane gave me money for my birthday which enabled Brian to organise as a surprise my NANAG number plates, how coooool is that I love them. Big thank you. Gary and Julie gave me a voucher for an overnight stay at the Vines with a game of golf which gives Brian and I the chance to share in that gift so thanks to you guys for the lovely gift too. So off I go into the big new yonder in my brand new JAZZ!!!!! Coooool as William would say.

June 2011 Janet & Martyn's House

As parents we all have hopes and dreams for our kids that they will be happy, dream dreams that one day will come true, this the end result of Jan and Martyn's dream, after much hard work and I'm sure some tears this is now their amazing and very beautiful home. Janet & Martyn, Dad and I are so proud of you both your dream for a beautiful home is now here for us all to seee. We hope happiness fills every room you both deserve it after all the hard yakka. Dad and I are very proud.

2011 Special moments

Hugs are blessings and we got lots with our family in Brisbane, just love my big boy Mark when he hugs you tend to lose your breath he's like a big bear, then a quiet moment with William before bedtime, last but not least the muscle boys, Will in his Bumble Bee outfit with Grandy 'Wow what big muscles you guys have' impressed!!!!!

Strawberry Picking June 2011

We all had the best day strawberry picking but most of all being together with our gorgeous family. None of us had ever seen such big, red juicy strawberry's before, you are allowed to eat one or two, I'm afraid Nanag broke all those rules I just couldn't stop eating them hoping against hope there were no cameras around watching me, but I did get the hard word from Kara who said 'one Nana not the whole field' there is always someone to spoil your day. Such a great day with great rewards at the end of it - strawberrys and cream YUM!!!

Swimming June 2011

This is our boy, couldn't sit quietly by Mum and wait for his swimming lesston to begin Oh no he had to 'just check out the water Mum see what's in there'. It was a swimming lesson Grandy and won't forget, he just couldn't sit still on the swim mat, jumping, splashing and at one point laying on his back and almost floated off the swim mat, he realised what was happening after a while then the 'panic' set in not so much for Will but for Mum Grandy and I, we expected him to float away. After swimming there were water aerobics for adults so on came the music, Will didn't need anymore prompting he was off dancing and had all the instructors and mums and dads entertained until the song stopped, boy can he shake those hips, then came a well deserved clap from everyong. Kara Grandy and I were in hysterics.

On with the games June 2011

Are you ready for 'what's the time Mr Wolf' that was fun especially when it was 'dinner time' the kids ran everywhere to avoid being caught. I think there was a bit of cheating in the 'three legged race' and I think it was Uncle Mark that cheated, not sure but I think it was, still Will didn't mind he won the race and after all it was Will's birthday so who better to win than William. Shame on you Uncle Mark!!!

Big day William & Nanag's birthday

The day started quite early around 6.30, William was so excited he was shaking I thought it was because it was a cold morning but not so Will just couldn't wait to open his presents. We had a great fun day in the park with lots of games which the kids and adults thought real good fun then came the cake I have never seen so many gooyee donuts eaten in such a short time. Oh by the way it was Nanag's birthday too I just thought I would mention that - but yep it was all about WILL!!!!
